Creation of Amrit Krishi
Amrit Krishi was established in Jharkhand in the year 2010, one of India’s most naturally abundant yet least industrially exploited regions. This land is defined by virgin, mineral-rich soil, dense forests, rolling hills, deccan plateaus, clean underground water, seasonal rivers, and a climate that allows crops to grow slowly and naturally. Unlike heavily farmed regions where soil is depleted by years of chemical use, Jharkhand’s soil remains alive rich in essential minerals and organic matter that directly enhance the nutritional quality of crops. The region’s pure water sources and moderate weather patterns support natural farming without forcing growth through artificial inputs.
Amrit Krishi was developed as a response to the growing disconnect between food and its natural source. Modern agriculture, driven by speed, yield, and appearance, has gradually stripped food of its original nutrition and authenticity. At the same time, tribal and marginal farmers, who safeguarded indigenous seeds & farming knowledge for centuries, were being pushed to the margins of the system. Amrit Krishi was created to reverse this imbalance to protect native seeds, revive traditional farming wisdom, and create a direct bridge between conscious consumers and honest farmers.
Based on Probiotic NatuEco farming conceived by Late Shri. Sripad A Dabholkar in 1960s. Takes soil health in to account while also reducing the cost of cultivation
Then after being inspired by Late Shri. Sripad A Dabholkar, Mr Deepak Sachdev lone farmers (who started & implemented practicing it near bank of Narmada MP).
As further research, Amrit Krishi started makes use of livestock as well as Shorea Robusta (SAL Tree) leaves found in abundance in the forest of Jharkhand which is disastrous to ecosystem in case burnt during forest fire.
We focused on increasing organic carbon content & crop friendly microbe density.
Which Resulted in increased bio-availability of nutrients, and production of crops rich in macro & micronutrients.
We have given scientific validation and Amrit Krishi stands uniquely positioned to lead this revolution recognized by ICAR (Indian Council of Agricultural Research) and awarded by AIIMS (National Nutrition Conference) in year 2018.
Amrit Krishi was honoured with the First Prize at the 12th International Conference on Sustainable Waste Management, held at Tirupati Balaji in 2022.
Restoring What Modern Farming Took Away
Over time, people have begun to see the harmful effects of hybrid and genetically modified seeds, along with the heavy use of chemicals in our food. While farmlands were losing nutrition, pharmaceutical companies profited by selling multivitamins and supplements. But these tablets, made from synthetic and artificial ingredients, are not a real solution. In fact, long-term use of such products has been linked to serious health issues like cancers, liver and kidney failure, and heart disease.
Amrit Krishi is the first Indian brand to take a bold step in reversing this damage. By cultivating crops with ancient native (desi) seeds on untouched lands of Jharkhand, we restore lost micronutrients, vitamins, and essential minerals naturally.
Our farming follows a unique probiotic methodology:
- Native Seeds + Amrit Mitti + Amrit Jal create living, nutrient-rich soil.
- ICAR, Ranchi certified our soil with 8.54% organic carbon per 100g, compared to just 0.3% in conventional farming.
- This high organic carbon fosters millions of beneficial microbes, which unlock micronutrients from the soil and transfer them directly into our crops.
